Aid For Problem Gamblers

The Mississippi Gaming Commission approved a new regulation Wednesday that will make it easier for problem gamblers to permanently bar themselves from casinos across the state.
Under the change, which will take effect in mid-October, a person who wants to be prevented from entering a casino or receiving advertisements from casinos will be able to go into any gaming commission office and sign up for a self-exclusion list.
