Tuesday January 11, 2005
On Thursday January 13th Tilt the original dramatic poker series made its debut on ESPN. The series was created by Brian Koppelman and David Levien the team that wrote and produced the Poker film Rounders.

The dramatic series is about the lives of professional poker players. The viewer will see an inside look at this sometimes glamorous and sometimes dangerous world through the eyes of the players. In addition to the competition in cards, the central characters will battle for control, money and fame. The action takes place at the fictional Colorado casino somewhere in Las Vegas the week before a major poker tournament.

The series has received great reviews from poker players and the general audiences. ESPN is banking on the enormous popularity of poker to make this series a huge success. More information can be found on the TV Tome website for Tilt.
