Wynn’s a Winner

Like all of Steve Wynn's past casinos, Wynn Las Vegas opened as scheduled at midnight April27th. Wynn Las Vegas is not only the newest casino on the Las Vegas Strip, it is also one of the most expensive costing a reported $2.7 billion to build. In a recent interview Wynn was quoted as saying, "(It's the most expensive, the most complex, the most ambitious structure in the world, including the pyramids of Egypt. We're not talking about Las Vegas, we're talking about everywhere. There is no $2.7 billion hotel. There is no $2.7 billion anything. That's $300 million or $400 million more than Euro Disney cost."
