The above quote was made by Charles Ponzi who will go down in history as the man who orchestrated oneof the biggest scams that swindled thousands of Americans out of their savings in Boston back in 1920. To this day the scam bears his name. He relied on the greed of people who were looking to make it rich quick.

I am reading Ponzi's Scheme: The True Story of a Financial Legend. The book is fascinating and riveting. It not only gives you the insight into how the scheme was developed but also a short history of America in the early 1900s.
