Hard Rock Casino Sold

The Hard Rock Casino will soon be under new management. Morgans Hotel Group Co has agreed to purchase the Hotel/Casino from co-founder Peter Morton. The sale price is said to be $770 million. The sale will probably not affect any of the casinos operations but it did bring to a halt the proposed $1 billion condominium project that had been planned for a 24-acre site next to the casino.
