Pro Poker Players Seek TV Deal

Gaming Today newspaper recently reported that some of the biggest names in poker are organizing "league" and are searching for a prime time television deal. Chip Reese, who is considered one of the top cash games players in the world, is at the head of the effort.
Although there are numerous poker shows on television these days, lately many of the top professionals who have become celebrities have been absent from the broadcasts. The backers reason that most viewers want to see these Stars playing when they tune in to a poker show. We will just have to wait and see if the show will be picked up by any of the broadcast networks.
