The Las Vegas Advisor - Review
Thursday June 22, 2006
Over the last few years with the expansion of casino gambling across the country Las Vegas has re-invented itself into an upscale vacation destination. Gambling once accounted for over 80 percent of the casinos revenue, it now only accounts for about 60 percent. The price of hotels, dining, shows and entertainment has soared and bargains in Las Vegas have melted away faster than an ice cream cone in the desert.
Bargains in Las Vegas still exist but you have to know where to find them. You can still get a complete steak dinner for under $5 or a prime rib dinner for $6.99. You can find show tickets for half price and stay free nights in the casino, get match play coupons for gambling and many more promotions that most tourists visiting Las Vegas never hear about. The way to find them is by subscribing to the Las Vegas Advisor. Here is my review of this publication.

Excellent blog! Interesting article and very informative!I really like it and i will subscribe for this blog.
With fewer guests visiting Vegas in these tough economic times, it has become imperative for casinos to keep guests in the door once they get there. They’re focusing on delivering engaging customer experiences at all their touch points, on and off the gambling floor. Casino Mystery Shopping is being used heavily to hold everyone accountable and to create daily coaching opportunities. Example of who gets measured: Slot Attendants, Security Staff, Table Game Dealers, Cage Cashiers, Gift Shop, Arcade Attendent, Valet, etc… Excellent customer service must be delivered everywhere.
Hi there.
A great article. I live in the Caribbean but like to go to Vegas. I last stayed at the Wynn on my 40th. The casinos have certainly got quieter over the years and also, because the main source of income has moved away from gambling, Vegas is also attracting a new type of tourist. Good blog and good article! Keep up the good work!
