Atlantic City Casinos Reopen

Gov. Jon S. Corzine signed an executive order at 6 a.m. Saturday directing state departments and agencies to resume services after lawmakers passed a budget, ending a stalemate that forced a weeklong government shutdown.
The casinos reopened around 8 am Saturday mornining. It was estimated that the shut down cost the casinos about $30 million in lost business.
