WSOP Main Event

The World Series of Poker main event it underway. Friday July 28th was the first of several "first days" as the field had to be broken down to accommodate all of the players. As of Thursday afternoon, more than 7,500 players had signed up to participate. The main event will run about 2 weeks before the crown a champion for 2006.
