Ultimate Blackjack Tour Makes Debut

A while back I wrote that the Ultimate Blackjack Tour would soon be broadcast on television. The time has finally arrived. Saturday September 16 will kick of the first show of the Ultimate Blackjack Tour on CBS. It will air at 2pm EST right before the coverage of the NCAA football games.
The Ultimate Blackjack Tour (UBT) is a series of Blackjack tournaments held around the world in locations including Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Aruba and Paris. The winners will compete against each other in the Championship event at the end of the regular series of tournaments.
The founders of the UBT are hoping the televised coverage will do for Blackjack what the WPT did for poker. CBS has committed to two years of TV coverage so this show should have a chance to catch on with the viewers. As of this time the scheduled air dates are:
- September 16
- September 23
- September 30
- October 14
- November 4
- November 18
- November 25
- Decmber 30

If they keep having trash talking people like “Hollywood Dave” on the show, I will NEVER watch again! He is as bad as that jerk “Unibomber” Phil Lark on the poker tour. I have quit watching that because of him and some others making fools of themselves just for the air time and expousure on TV
