Three Casinos for Atlantic City

Atlantic City could be getting three new casino resorts in the next few years. The Sands which closed November 11th is slated to be demolished and rebuilt into a new mega-resort. It has also been reported that the aging Trump Plaza would be replaced by a $3 billion resort. In last weeks issue Gaming Today reported that Trumps partner in the new resort would be Las Vegas mogul Steve Wynn.
In other news, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported that former Caesar Entertainment executive Wallace Barr was among a group close to closing a deal for 11 acres of property on the Boardwalk that would be the site of another new casino for New Jersey.
