Professional Poker League Forming

A group of professional poker players are gearing up to form a league similar to Golf's PGA. Eight teams are being formed that will drat 64 players. Poker Pro Chip Reese is credited as the key figure in the league that will be known as the Professional Poker League.
The league will use a cash game format that will be played at the Venetian casino in Las Vegas. At this time there are plans to broadcast the matches on cable television's I Network which is partly owned by NBC.
