Casino Games In West Virginia?
Sunday July 15, 2007
West Virginia is currently one of the States that does no have casinos. The do have four racetracks and it may not be long until they start offering casino table games. The Kanawha County Commission voted 2-1 to approve a resolution supporting the bid by Tri-State Racetrack & Gaming Center to add such games as blackjack, roulette and craps.
Kanawha is the last of West Virginia's four racetrack counties to vote on the issue this year. Hancock County approved the games for Mountaineer Race Track & Gaming Resort,. Ohio County approved them for Wheeling Island Racetrack and Gaming Center while Jefferson County, however, rejected the games for Charles Town Races & Slots.

West Virginia does have slots at its four racetracks, and table games will complete the picture. THANK YOU to the voters who approved table games in Ohio and Hancock counties, and best of luck to Kanawha!!!
I hope West Virginia deals a six deck game of blackjack on main floor.
