Mississippi Belle II Takes Final Cruise

It is the end of an era in Clinton Iowa as the Mississippi Belle II made its final cruise on October 10th. Gambling will now move to a new land based casino to replace the river boat cruises. The Mississippi Belle made its first gambling cruise on June 14, 1991.
When gambling was first legalized the regulations required all gambling to be confined to river boat cruises. New laws will allow a land based casino.
