Tight Slots in Illinois
Sunday July 27, 2008
Most casinos around the country have been reporting a decline in revenue caused by the slowing economy and fewer players visiting the casino. However according to a report published by the Chicago Daily Herald, Illinois casinos have generated a 20 percent increase in revenue between 2000 and 2007 despite a 13 percent drop in attendance. They are doing this by replacing older slot machines that had higher paybacks with newer machines with lower paybacks.
In 2000 only seven percent of the machines in the Illinois casinos had payback less than 90 percent. Last year that number jumped to 46 percent of the machines paying back less than 90 percent. I think if I were a slot player in Illinois, I would definitely learn how to play table games

I believe no one can predict what a slot will pay; that includes slot techs and big time players. I have bought over five “tips” to win, one off this board and Ebay. NONE have proven a win for me! My wife is mad at me for losing money with these tips as well as the slots! ha
