Every four years when there is a Presidential election I usually receive one or two e-mails asking me if the Las Vegas books accept wagers on the election. The answer is NO! You cannot make a wager on the election and the Las Vegas oddsmakers do not put out a line on who will win.

There are however several Internet Sports Wagering sites that have published a line and accept wagers on the election. Bookmakers in several other countries such as the United Kingdom and Australia will also accept wagers on the US elections
