How long are your playing sessions?

Wednesday September 24, 2008
Last week there was a discussion in the forum asking about your longest playing session. I received and e-mail from a reader who asked me what I thought was the length of the average playing session. I usually play between one and two hours at a time but I thought I would start a poll to see what others think. What is the average length of your playing session?

While my session may be 1-2 hours; I take frequent breaks and will play longer in a day. Just not at one session. I find that it keeps me more in tune with game and in control. Also, won’t quit if I’m winning, of course.

I usually play 1-2 hours per session, playing three sessions every day during my stay (3-5 days. I rarely place my winnings back onto the table, unless I have exceeded my 50% winning goal/profit. I continue to play until I deplete my original session monies. This way I always end with money left. I prefer craps, blackjack, and video poker.
