Poker Coach Card Protector

Sunday December 14, 2008

I received a sample of the PC Poker Coach card protector to review. It is a novel idea of a card protector that is supposed to double as your personal poker. The premise is that looking at the 1 2 3 on the face of coin will be a visual reminder to concentrate on the three simple rules for winning. The rules are explained on a card that comes with the Poker Coach which include the recommendations for which starting Texas Holdem hands to play and a suggestion to use the fit or fold strategy after the flop.

I did not agree with all of their starting hand recommendations but the overall concept of keeping players concentrating on playing their best game is a good one. Some players may find it helpful. The Poker Coach card protector sells for $14.95 which is about the same price as some of the other novelty card protectors on the market. If you need a visual reminder to play your best game, this device may help or it just may be an interesting conversation piece at the table.
