Resolve to Play Smarter and Have Fun

Friday December 26, 2008
A New Year is here already. It seems like only a few months ago we were ringing in 2008 with much joy and anticipation, now we can't shuffle it the door fast enough. What a difference twelve months can make. To say that 2008 was a challenging year would be an understatement. Many of us will be making fewer trips to the casino this year. In order to get the most out of our visits we need to play smart, utilize promotions and have a plan before we go

Each year many of us start by making resolutions to improve ourselves or change some undesired habit. You know the ones I'm talking about. We all have made and broken them year after year. They sound good on New Year's Day but most resolutions go out the within a week or two. Some psychologists theorize that the reason this happens is because we don't have the passion required to give it our full effort in order to make I work. The resolutions and goals that do get achieved are the ones that we enjoy doing and find pleasure in accomplishing.

This year you could make a New Year's resolution to "have more fun in the casino". That sounds simple enough but if you are like me, the real fun in the casino comes from winning. In order to be a consistent winner you have to play smarter when you visit the casino. So let's change the resolution from" have more fun in the casino to "I resolve to play smarter in the casino!" Here are some suggestions.

The only way to make money at gambling is to be able to BS about like this clown and get paid for it. If you leave a casino without a noticeable change in your wallet contents and and can look at your online bank acount transactions afterward without having a fit then you played damn smart.

If you think Bill’s advice is “BS”, then why are you taking the time to read it? If you think its “BS” then why waste everyone’s time with a negative post?
