Luxor to Offer All Inclusive Vacation Package

Wednesday April 1, 2009
I have always felt that vacation packages were the best bargain for the person who only visits Las Vegas occasionally. You can book many travel packages through the airlines or online travel sites such as Kayak. These packages usually include your airfare and a hotel room at a discounted rate. However you still have to pay for your food and any other entertainment you planned during your visit. This is about to change.

The Las Vegas casinos have been suffering from the lack visitors and they have been trying different promotions to entice the customers back to the city. Many casinos have been offering discounted room rates for the last few months but the Luxor Hotel and Casino is taking it a step further. They announced that they will offer packages that will include your room, meals and shows. The only additional expense will be for your gambling. The Luxor is offering the packages from April 2, 2009 - December 28, 2009. If this promotion is a success I am sure you will see other casinos copy the plan and start offering their own inclusive packages. I think this is a great idea and a good bargain if you are planning on visiting Las Vegas this year.

it maybe the cause of Online casino’s coming out of no where, because of its free hustle and less expensive than going to a real casino
allslotscasino.com offers new slot games and exciting casino games.. Las Vegas casinos should look in to the information gateway and maybe build also an online casino

DO NOT BOOK THIS OFFER. I repeat: DO NOT BOOK THIS OFFER. I made the mistake of doing so last weekend, and I was treated to the worst Vegas experience of my life.
The Luxor staff was not hospitable or knowledgeable about the promotion. I had to ask for my tickets at check-in, and no one on the hotel staff knew what they were when I presented them for things like the buffet.
Also, you will only get 3 buffet tickets for a 2 night stay (not unlimited as mentioned in the offer), you will not get tickets to Cathouse or LAX (and in the case of LAX all luxor guests get in for free anyway). Our room was gross with bugs in the bed and the maid didn’t come until well in the afternoon. When we mentioned all of this to the hotel, they just told us they would “start a file”. It’s been over a week, I’ve called once, responded to a survey, and sent two e-mails and I haven’t gotten a single response from the hotel or its corporate owner.
This is an awful deal and it’s a shame to see the Luxor’s standards dip so low, but ensuring that their guests have a valuable experience is obviously not one of their concerns. Go to the Palms, it’s fun there.

This offer is actually a rip-off for a less than desirable stay. You will not get all of the things you are promised, the staff at the Luxor will look at you like you’re crazy whenever you try to hand over one of the vouchers as part of this promotion. Criss Angel Believe is the worst show in Vegas right now, and your room will probably have bugs. Mine sure did.
I’ve spoken to 2 people, sent 3 emails, responded to a survey, and called the Luxor about the issues with this package and they can’t even be bothered to call or email me back. It’s a shame to see a chain dip so low that they don’t care about their customers anymore. Stay away from the Luxor.
