What Makes Your Favorite Casino Special?
Wednesday April 15, 2009
I happen to live in an area that has two casinos within 10 miles of each other yet I visit one casino more than the other. Some of my friends like the other casino and this will usually lead to a debate as to which casino to visit when we plan a get together. The other day we were discussing what made one casino more appealing than the other. Each of us had a different opinion. I thought I would ask your opinion as to what makes your favorite casino special.

Hotel Accomodations & Dining/Night Life at the bottom. Game selection and Comps were tops. Looks like the casinos are going about luring us back with all the wrong things. They need to dump their expensive shows, restaurants, & Clubs and give us good games and generous comps and we’ll be eating out of their hands.
The number of tables and the variety of betting minimums play a role in which casino we patronize. A major Las Vegas casino often raises the minimum to $25.00 at craps and blackjack tables after 7:00 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends. In addition, we visit Las Vegas at least five times each year, and recently the hotel at which we often stay started assigning us, the most ill-located, unclean rooms available. We found blood in the showers of two of the rooms until we were placed in a third that was acceptable. Only one front desk person apologized and offered us some compensation (a few free meals)because our room changes took over three hours. Needless to say, we longer patronize the hotel at which we have stayed over 33 times. Customer service, obviously, now plays a major role in our casino/hotel selection.
