Want to be a dolphin trainer at the Mirage? You can earn the privilege with points from your new "M life" player's club card!
MGM Resorts launched their M life program this week, and some of the unique perks you can earn from gambling at MGM Resorts from Detroit, to Mississippi, to Las Vegas, include swimming with the dolphins. That's different than swimming with the fishes, in case you were worried.
Just a few of the other perks include selecting The Fountains of Bellagio songs for a day, a cameo role in Cirque du Soleil's Viva ELVIS at ARIA, and serving as a guest DJ at a club inside the MGM Grand.
I'd probably skip the fountain songs, unless they let me go all day with Fireball songs like Sugar Shack and Bottle of Wine, but the rest sound cool. What's also cool, is that soon the M life program will also give you points for what you spend at MGM property hotels, like rooms, shopping, dining and more.
That makes the card kind of like a frequent flier program. Not all player's club programs are created the same. It's nice to see some changes coming to the industry. I wonder what Caesars Entertainment will begin offering in response. A day as a Gladiator in Vegas, a Sheriff in Kansas City, or maybe "Bugsy" Siegel at the Flamingo in Las Vegas? Who knows?
