A total of 58 poker tournaments are now scheduled for the upcoming 2011 World Series of Poker. The WSOP is the world's largest poker tournament and starts this year on Monday, May 30th. It culminates with the $10,000 Buy-In Championship on July 7th. Based on last year's entries the final will be a 13-day event.
Once again the tournament will be held at the Rio Casino (3700 W. Flamingo, Las Vegas). And, once again, Harrah's/Caesars is offering some freebies to entice you to give them your email address. Previously, Harrah's offered a daily drawing online for free entries to the WSOP. This year's offer is a bit different.
If you are interested, the 2011 offer is from Caesars Interactive Entertainment, Inc. "WSOP Circuit Giveaway (the "Contest") is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and D.C. (excluding residents of California, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Mississippi, Rhode Island, South Carolina, and Vermont) who are at least twenty-one (21) years old at the time of entry." You will need to download the poker software and follow the links to the free tournaments. You will need to provide your name, address, and email to register.
