New Year's Eve Resolutions for casino players should be mandatory! If you haven't made a New Year's resolution, well, you should, and it should sound something like mine: "In 2013 I will play more blackjack and poker, instead of sneaking over to the video poker machines (they keep calling me, rotten little devils) and eating a candy bar while sipping on my free 35-cent soda that winds up costing me $100."
If that's too direct for you, at least consider following some important gambling tips for enjoying yourself at the casino by not getting over your head financially, not getting drunk, and not wasting your money on bets that are a terrible deal. And speaking of terrible deals, I lost $10 on Power Ball and didn't even win the $500 million first prize! I know that's hard to believe, but it's true. So, I'm going to keep supplementing my income by playing blackjack and poker. And (really), I'm going to stay away from those candy bars I mentioned earlier (oh, all right, the video poker too). I can do it. So can you. Stick with what's working and is the most enjoyable and play that. Dump the bad bets and enjoy the new year!
In other news, Maryland casinos waited until the world didn't end on December 21st to go 24-hours, so now you can gamble all day long, even if that is against a really important tip (don't ever crawl up on an empty craps table and take a snooze), so have fun! If you don't live in Maryland or a surrounding state, new casinos are opening soon in Oklahoma, Ohio, Louisiana, Mississippi, and - geez, all over. Don't go wild, alright?
As for that New Year's Eve Resolution, try to decide on it (and actually say it out-loud) before you've had several tall ones and are making a final New Year's Eve toast, you'll thank me in the morning!AND
Good Luck to You in 2013!
