Changing Your Luck

Thursday August 16, 2007
I finally got around to reading The Secret which has been on the best selling book list for the lat year or so. The premise of the book is that if you constantly think about something you can make it occur.

The Secret is not a new concept. Many years ago Earl Nightingale a pioneer in self development said "We become what we think about."

Dr Maxwell Maltz coined the phrase Psycho-Cybernetics as he explained that the mind could not determine and actual event from one that is imagine. Many great athletes and great inventors talk about how the used the power of visualization to help them achieve their goals.

I have long been a believer that our attitudes can affect our lives. If you look at an optimist they seem to be lucky and have great things happened to them all the time. On the other hand a pessimist seems to encounter bad luck where ever they go. I think this is all related to the way they look at the world. Here are some suggestion that can help you change your luck.
