Amarillo Slim is the greatest gambler who has ever lived. He is known around the world and his exploits are legendary. In this fascinating book he takes the reader on a journey with him as he explains some of his most amazing bets won with other famous and some infamous people. Slim has beat Minnesota Fats at pool with a broom handle, beat Bobby Riggs playing ping Pong with a Skillet, and won host of other seemingly impossible bets against the odds.
Slim won the World Series of Poker in 1972. He has played the game with Presidents Johnson and Nixon and hustled drug lords Pablo Escobar and Jimmy Charga.
His life story is entertaining and a great read.
