This mini map will give you a little idea of the immediate area where we are staying. As you read about different attractions you can refer back to this map.
We are staying at the Luxor, which is south of Tropicana Ave on Las Vegas Blvd, AKA The Strip. On the corner of Tropicana and the Strip you will find Excalibur Tropicana, NY NY and MGM.
The Luxor and Excalibur are both owned by the Mandalay Bay Group (Formally Circus Circus). There is a walkway between the two resorts and you can go from one to the other without having to venture outside. When you walk out of Excalibur you can take an outside walkway that crosses over Tropicana Ave to get to NY NY or one that crosses over the Strip to The Tropicana casino. From the Tropicana you can cross over Topicana Ave to MGM or you can cross over the Strip from NY NY to MGM.
From the MGM you can ride a free monorail up the Stip to Ballys. Next door to Ballys is the new Paris Resort and Casino which is slated to open Sept. 1st. From Ballys you can take a walkway over to Belligio and from Bellagio to Caesars and the Forum shops.
Up the Strip further you will find Mirage, Treasure Island, The Venetian and more casinos. The Strip from Tropicana Ave to Sahara Ave is about 5 miles.
