Joyce Kilmer wrote the classic poem "Tall Timber". In the poem Kilmer writes: "I Think that I shall never see, a poem as lovely as a tree." Since most video poker players never find their way of the casino to look at nature, I thought this version might be more fitting. (For thos unfamialair with Deuces Wild, four deuces is the second highest hand.)

Tall Deuces
(with sincere apology to Joyce Kilmer)

I think that I shall never see
A hand as lovely as four D's.

The coin slots hungry mouth was prest
To steal my quarters while I rest.

Four deuces appeared to me today
And Now I wait for my hand pay.

Though it's volatility and streakiness unfair
Would cause me many times to swear.

Today the ugly beast was slain
Leaving me my riches which to claim.

Video Poker was made for fools like me
And I thank God I drew four D's.
