I want to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy and healthy New Year. It's 2001 and this is the true start of the new millennium. Each year at this time I sit down and reflect on the past year and look ahead to the year to come. I like to set some personal and professional goals to help guide me through the year. My number one professional goal is to continue to make this site one of the best places to find casino gambling information.

Looking back.

Last year I gave some suggestions to readers that included learning a new casino game and traveling to a new gambling destination. I had the opportunity to follow my advice and do both in the last year. At the beginning of the year I decided to learn how to play casino poker and document my experiences on the website. I did so and in the process I discovered one of the most exciting games I had ever played, Texas Hold'em. Maybe this will be the year you try a new casino game.

Last year I also had the pleasure of traveling to Tunica Mississippi, which has become the third largest gambling destination in the country. If you are looking for a new place to play I highly recommend a trip to experience Gambling Southern Style.

Looking ahead.

Once again I remind you to keep a gambling log for tax purposes. This may be the year you hit a jackpot over $1,00 that will require the casino to give you a W-2G form.

This year I plan to add a photo gallery to the site. You will be able to look at photos of casinos and attractions from different gambling destinations around the country.

Due to the tremendous response from the Blackjack 101 feature I am planning on reviewing the basics of most of the casino games throughout the year. This will give you a chance to learn how to play a new game if you chose.
