Do you have a casino or gambling related story you would like to share with others? Are you an aspiring writer? Would you like to have your story posted on the Internet?

Over the last year I have received some e-mail from readers who have written stories about gambling and want to know where they can send them for possible publication. Unfortunately there are not a lot of gambling related magazines and most of these do not accept unsolicited material. I think there are some talented people who have written some interesting stories and I would like to give them the opportunity to showcase their work.

If there is enough interest, I will be launching the Reader's Corner in the near future. This will be a section on the website where I will be posting stories written by you the reader for everyone to read. It will be listed as the Reader's Corner along with the other subject categories on the left side of the main page. Anyone can submit a story based on the following guidelines.

Submission Guidelines:

1) The story must be about gambling, casinos, or related subjects.

2) Stories can be fiction or non-fiction.

3) The content should be appropriate for all readers. (I.e. no foul language or graphic sexual content)

4) No advertisements or sales pitch.

5) Story length should be under 750 words.

6) All stories must be original and writers will be required to complete a User Agreement Form.

After you submit your story it will be reviewed for publication. The stories accepted will be posted on the site. Other viewers  can read your story and you can send the link to your family and friends. There is no payment for the stories this is just to showcase your talents and have a little fun.

You can write about your big wins, loses, mistakes you've made, lessons learned, vacation experiences or colorful characters you have meet along the way. It's up to you. I look forward to reading what you have to write. I know there are some talented writers among you. Send in your stories.
