The World Series of Poker has grown into a major media event. The Discovery Channels telecast of the 1999 WSOP was one of the most popular shows. It also helped introduce tournament poker to many recreational players. ESPN has broadcast pat tournaments as well.

The Discovery Channel is filming an hour long documentary of the 2000 WSOP to be broadcast later this year. The event is also being covered by A&E, NBC, BBC and other TV, radio stations, and newspapers around the world.

If you would like immediate coverage and find it all on the internet

Poker expert Andy Glazer has teamed up with professional player Phil Hellmuth to cover the event for Poker.Casino.com. Andy brings you daily reports on the events. Phil shares his Poker Diary with you.

Phil Hellmuth will be broadcasting live from Binions at the final table on May 18th
