God Doesn’t Shoot Craps is billed as a “divine comedy” it might just as easily be called a “comedy of errors.” In this delightful novel by Richard Armstrong you will meet Danny Pallegrino, a junk mail con man who has made millions selling fake gambling systems to gullible people.

As the story begins Danny has just launched an extensive mail order campaign to sell a bogus craps system called “Win By Losing” that he is marketing with its creator Virgil Kirk. Danny flies to Atlantic City to play the system so he can answer questions about it from the gullible people who may purchase the system. To his shock the system actually works.

Now Danny must try to stop the mail order campaign before the orders start pouring in. Unfortunately a copy of the system has fallen into the hands of a mafia king pin. If that isn’t bad enough the Attorney General wants to arrest Danny for mail fraud in regards to his advertisement for the system.

As Danny travels across the country trying to escape the mafia and the federal agents he runs into one predicament after another. Throughout the book there is an underlying current of spirituality as Danny discovers the true meaning of life as well as some things he didn’t know about himself.
