The Bank Club had twice the square footage of clubs across the street like the Inferno and the Ship and Bottle. The Bank Club had a huge bar, frequented by many patrons, some of which appeared only when the girls from the Red Light District appeared. Jim McKay and Bill Graham, who owned the local brothels, demanded that their "ladies" spend at least an hour at the casino bar after their daily shifts.
