When I visit the casino there are certain items that I like to bring along with me. I call it my casino survival kit and most of these will fit right into my pocket. Before you visit the casino consider taking along some of these items. Hopefully it will make your casino visit more enjoyable and profitable

Have a Game Plan

Many players simply go to the casino with a pocket full of money and jump from game to game until all their money is gone. I have yet to find anyone who can honestly admit that losing all their money during a casino visit was an enjoyable experience. You can have a much better time if you just spend a few minutes to make a plan for your next casino visit. I would like to offer you some suggestions for “planning” you next visit.

Carry Emergency Identification

If an emergency occurs and you become incapacitated, time could become an important factor while emergency workers try to contact someone who can make decisions about your care. A simple card with the name and number of your next of kin could save valuable minutes and

Bring You Players Club Cards

The most valuable card in the casino is not found on any of the tables. It is the card you get at the players club. Also known as Slot Club Card, this little piece of plastic is worth a lot more than the average player might think. Make sure to remember to bring and use your card.

Pack Your Strategy Cards

Blackjack and Video Poker are two of the best games to play in the casino. Both of these games have a mathematical strategy that you can use to reduce the house edge. You can even bring a strategy card along with you to refer to while you play to make sure you are playing correctly

Video Poker Scouting Guide

If you plan to play video poker it is essential that you know the pay back of the machines you are playing. The Frugal Video Poker Scouting Guide is a handy reference tool designed to make finding profitable video poker games in any casino easy for everyone. It contains nearly 200 pay schedules for 37 of the most popular video poker games. This is a great guide to take along with you to the casino

Bring Your Winners Bank

When you get ahead you want to lock up some of your winnings. If you have a problem giving back all your winnings make sure to bring your Winners Bank and lock up a profit. The Winners Bank 200 is a sleek pocket sized bank that will allow you to “deposit” your winnings at the end of each session. It comes with a key that you can leave at home.

Bring Your Ipod

Anyone who spends a few hours in the casino can appreciate having their own music to listen to while they are playing. I enjoy playing video poker but after awhile I get tired of hearing the same old “Muzak” that is piped through the casino. I always bring my Ipod along with me to the casino.
