Ipod Nano Perfect Casino Companion

The Ipod Nano is the perfect casino companion for anyone who gets tired of the casino’s piped in music. Listen to your favorite music as you play. The small size lets you carry your Nano around your neck or in a shirt pocket and out of the way. The Ipod Nano replaced my bulkier mp3 player while giving me five times the storage capabilities. It is also perfect for in the car or on the plane going to or from the casino.

Anyone who spends a few hours in the casino can appreciate having their own music to listen to while they are playing. I enjoy playing video poker but after awhile I get tired of hearing the same old “Muzak” that is piped through the casino. I recently purchased an Ipod Nano and I have discovered just how nice it is to be able to listen to may favorite music while I play.

The Ipod Nano is the perfect size and I added the optional lanyard headphones that lets me wear it around my neck without having to worry about wires getting in my way as I play. Now when I sit down at a machine all I have to do is put in my ear buds and hit the play button and I am entertained as I play. Many of the poker players are now using Ipods to listen to music that keeps them calm and helps with the boredom of long tournaments.

Whenever I fly I enjoy listening to audio books to pass the time on the plane. I have the smaller 2 gig Ipod Nano and I can put a 20 hour audiobook onto it still have more than enough room for many hours of music.

The Nano uses flash memory instead of a hard drive making it very durable should it get dropped. The only negative I encountered was trying to connect it to my older PC which did not have the faster USB 2 connection. Rather than add a port I chose to use my laptop and the Nano connected with no problems at all.
