Betting Roulette Outside Bets

You can make a wager on either Red or Black. If you win this bet pays even money. At first it may seem like an even bet but you have to remember that the zero and double zero are green. If you bet on Red and the ball lands on either Black or Green you lose your bet. (You cannot bet on Green. The only way to do this would be to bet on the inside numbers of zero and double zero)
