DB Digital Dealer Button

The Bottom Line

The DB Dealer combines a dealer button and a timer in one unit. This is the ideal product for anyone who hosts home poker tournaments. It eliminates the need for an extra timer. I found this product very useful, practical and a great idea. Having the timer on the table allows all the players know how much time is left in the round.

Guide Review - DB Digital Dealer Button

Anyone who has run a poker tournament knows the hassle keeping time with a simple kitchen timer or worse a wrist watch. Te DB dealer is a practical solution that combines a timer and dealer button all in one unit. The DB dealer is about the same size as a regular dealer button that you will find in the cardrooms. Because the timer is built into the button it can be in view of the players at all time without getting in the way or cluttering the table.

The DB Dealer is easy to use and it can be set in five-minute increments up to 95 minutes. There is a pause and restart button in case there is a need for a break in the middle of the round. When the buttons are pushed there is a beep that will alert you should a player try to change any settings.

As the time counts down there is a beep that sounds for a one minute warning and then again at the end of the round. The sound of the beeper is not as loud as I would like but this is compensated for by the fact that all players can easily read how much time is left in the round.

I have been using this button in my home poker tournaments and have been getting positive feedback from all of the players. The most frequently asked question is “Where can I get one?”

The DB Dealer retails for $19.95 plus shipping. If you purchase two or more shipping is included and the price is lower. See their website for all the details.
