February 10, 2004Boyd Gaming to Acquire Coast CasinosBoyd Gaming Corp. said Monday it was acquiring Coast Casinos Inc. in a $820 million cash-stock deal consolidating two longtime Las Vegas-based gambling companies. Under the agreement, Coast will become a subsidiary of Boyd Gaming and will operate independently under existing Coast management.
