Deuces Wild Hold'em Fold'em is a casino table game that uses a standard deck of 52 cards. However, as the name implies, each of the four deuces is wild (wild cards can be used as any other card in a standard 52-card deck). The pay table tends to confuse people, but just remember you can't get paid if you don't finish the hand, and you get three opportunities to wager. If your first bet (the ante) is $5, your three bets totaled will equal $20. Likewise, each wager will be paid according to the payoff chart. If you make four-of-a-kind, you get paid 4-1 on each wager.
AntePlace your first wager on the "Ante" square to receive three cards. Once all the cards are out you can decide whether or not to "Fold"em" and drop out and forfeit your ante, or "Hold"em" and continue.
Best StrategyYou should continue playing if you have any hand with: a deuce; any pair; three of a kind; three cards to a flush including an ace; three cards to a straight flush.
BetTo continue playing you must place a second wager equal to the ante in the "Bet" square. The dealer will then deliver a fourth card face down. You must again make the same decision as before: Fold"em and drop out, forfeiting both your ante and bet wagers, or Hold"em and continue.
Best StrategyWith four cards, you should continue playing if you have any hand with: a deuce; any pair, two pair; three of a kind; four to a flush; four to a straight flush.
RaiseTo continue playing you must now place another wager (double the ante) on the raise square. The dealer will then deliver the fifth and final card face up. Your final hand will determine whether you win or not. If you do not make at least a pair of aces the dealer will take all of your wagers. A single pair of aces pays just 1 to 1 on the ante and a push on the other wagers.
