Double exposure blackjack allows the player to see both of the dealer's cards, but to compensate for this, the player loses ties. Usually, the player is restricted to doubling on only 9, 10 and 11. The basic strategy for the game is slightly different than in regular blackjack.
Changes to Standard Blackjack Basic Strategy- Double with 9 only against: 5, 6 and 12-16
- Double with 10 only against: 4-8 and 12-16
- Double with 11 only against: 4-16 but not 10 or 11
- Hit soft hands until you have 18 against dealer total of up to 16
- Deuces: 4-6 and 12-17
- Treys: 4-6 and 12-17
- Fours: 12-16
- Sixes: 4-6 and 12-17
- Sevens: 4-6 and 12-17
- Eights: 4-17 except stand on 9, 10 and 11
- Nines: 4-18 except stand on 7, 9-11 and 17
- Tens: 13-17
- Aces: 4-16 except hit against 11 and 17-20
