Biloxi, Mississippi is a hotbed of casino resorts. Many of the resorts are found along the Mississippi Sound and Biloxi Bay. The city itself offers championship golf courses, museums, shopping, and plenty of restaurants.
Inside the nine casinos you can also find fine dining and snack bars, quiet lounges and noisy showrooms, and spas and salons. The hotels are well appointed with suites and inexpensive rooms, and of course there are thousands of slot machines to choose from.
Driving to Biloxi is easy enough along US 10 which bisects the city, and 110 drops right down to the water. If you are already on the coastline you’ll find that highway 90 is right where many of the casinos are.
Traveling by air is a little more challenging. If you are already in the South, American Airlines, Delta, and US Airways have flights into Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport. Parking is $11 a day in the garage, but the Island View casino is nearby with 83,000 square feet of gaming space, 2,000 slot machines, and 45 table games.
The casinos of Biloxi along the water are less than 20 minutes away from the airport, but if you want to fly in from outside of the South, you may need to try New Orleans and rent a car for the 102 mile drive.
